Think Pink Products

We believe that every company should be socially conscious and we at Star & Rose have selected The Think Pink Foundation as the Charity that we will actively support.

This decision came from the fact that a few of our colleagues have personally been touched in their families by cancer. Think Pink is a Foundation that supports breast cancer patients and their families at a “grass roots” level. This means that they help families who are in financial need in a very practical way with the unexpected costs that arise. This could involve helping with wigs, baby sitting costs, workshops that help them deal with self esteem issues, sexuality and body image topics that arise with woman and their families when dealing with breast cancer, they can even get financial support for bills and rent.

We have developed a range of Think Pink Branded products where a donation is made for every item sold to the Foundation, and as October is Think Pink month, we will be sending out a Promotion featuring these products. We also have a range of Gourmet Food Hampers for corporate customers to give away this Christmas. Every time they give a hamper, it will be like sending out two gifts, one to the person receiving the hamper and another is a very good percentage to the Think Pink Foundation.

We are also in the process of developing a range of Natural and Organic Body Care products specifically developed for cancer patients. As you can imagine, Radiation treatments and Chemo Therapy affects the body in very harsh and severe ways and we have developed a range of pure, mild products for cancer patients to use on a daily basis. This range should be ready in early 2010, so keep your eyes out for it.

As a retailer you too can help this cause by helping to promote these well designed and beautiful products. You will see that Think Pink products sell very well, as consumers are happy to buy and support a worthy cause - which in turn can help your company have a social conscious.
